To us, ministry is the greatest blessing given a
church family. We desire to grow as disciples simply so He will
bless us with more work to do for Him! We take seriously
Ephesians 2:10 where Paul instructs: "for we are His workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand
so that we would walk in them".
We participate in a variety of ministries and
missions, both local and global through our common bonds as United
Methodists and participation with other organizations. A
sampling is Lifeway Pregnancy Clinic, Christian Camping, work trips,
and Open Hands Ministry. We are always open to new ways to serve
our immediate neighbors.
Globally, we support ministry/mission efforts such
as Heifer Project, UMCOR, Samaritan's Purse, and two missionary
couples serving overseas. Locally, our
congregation is involved
in the community at the Food Bank, Crop Walk, Meals on Wheels, and
other such ministries. Our service in Christ is as individuals,
small groups, classes, a congregation, as each is called and responds.
